The article examines the prospects of using coal ash as a secondary raw material in the context of the circular economy and sustainable development. The mineralogical and chemical properties of ash are analyzed, which determine its suitability for application in the production of cement and concrete,road materials, and other industries. Particular attention is paid to the environmental aspects of utilization, including the potential reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and minimization of negative impact on the environment. Examples of successful practices of using ash in the EU and Ukraine are provided, as well as the regulatory framework governing its application is outlined. The work emphasizes the importance of integrating coal ash processing technologies into the strategies of the green transformation of industry.
